The Musical starts in Victorian England as Anthony and Jonathan Langsworth attend the funeral of their beloved uncle. A few days after the funeral and they attend the will reading in which Jonathan inherits a large sum of money and Anthony inherits his house including his uncles belongings. Once settled in, Anthony feels there is something wrong with the house.  This is confirmed when the ghostly figure of a lady appears next to him in the mirror. Convinced the house is haunted he speaks to a dear friend who assures him it is simply stress that is making him see things.

But it is not long after when the ghostly figure calls to him from in the mirror. She beckons him in and with a leap of faith, he magically steps through the mirror into a new world. A world called DOLTERRIS. Unknown to Anthony, Jonathan witnesses this miraculous event and eventually plucks up the courage to walk through the mirror to follow his brother ...but Anthony has long gone and Jonathan is lost and alone

In fact, Anthony is with the ghostly figure who introduces herself as Mylanne Silk. Anthony also meets her sister Clebo. If entering a dazzling new world wasn’t enough to cope with, it appears that the inhabitants of Dolterris see Anthony as a God. He tries to explain that he is a mere man but they do not listen. Unfortunately these type of Gods (known as Proguardians) have been outlawed by the dictator that has claimed power to the land.  The Dictators name is Avel and she runs the terrain along with her brainwashed soldiers known as The Tribe. The tyrant Avel is a sinister, evil being who lacks all emotion but hatred and when she learns of Proguardians in the land, she will not stop at nothing to bring corrupt justice to them.

It is not long before Jonathan is found and Anthony is arrested. The penalty for summoning a Proguardian is death. The Tribe will execute Mylanne as soon as possible. Although Anthony and Jonathan know nothing of this world, they know they must make a stand for what is right and good about life.  They must literally change the world before civil war breaks out.

Dolterris is a musical with romance, love, hate and civil war that questions our definition of freedom. There are scenes to make you laugh, to make you cry and challenge morals we live our lives by. It contains dramatic songs and romantic ballads that give you feelings of incredible emotion.
